In my experiences it outperforms and outshines other similar models such as the martin d15. All american made, high quality craftsmanship, and the deepest lushest tone you can find in a dreadnought. This guitar is overflowing with emotion. Love this guitar.
Don't hesitate pulling the trigger on one. If you do you will be a huge guild fan afterwards.
Herringbone, diamond inlays, aged toner, sweet modified V neck... And tone for DAYS.
If you like the tone of hd28 but want the benefits of a thicker neck, this is for you.
The best sounding guitar I've ever heard was an Hd28v. Wish I could have kept it, It will always be my great white buffalo.

The P90s on this guitar give it a rich and warm tone. Very cool style body makes this guitar a unique instrument. Has lots of potential for upgrading and while made in mexico it has great build quality
