Heaviest distortion I've ever heard
I use this for every recording I've ever done. The distortion is nasty and bites hard, but the coolest feature is the noise gate, which cancels literally ANY sound that would come out of the amp.

The best strings on the market
These are my all time favorite strings. Every single employee at the guitar shop where I work swear by these. The new NY Steel core wire stays in tune longer and lets you bend further. Overall, best sounding strings I've ever used, and the only strings I put on my electric guitars.

Great begginner guitar.
I use this guitar for a clean tone when recording, seeing as how its my only axe with single coils. It can handle some pretty intense distortion though.

A great tool for an artist who is beginning their journey towards recording. Easy to use with great tone.

My primary weapon of choice
I use this guitar the most often on stage. The Gibson Les Paul is without equal when it comes to brand recognition. The only other thing that could make you look and sound like a pro is a T-shirt with the words "I know what I'm doing" on the back.

This is my stage amp.
A great introduction to more powerful amplifiers, Marshall is the name that everyone recognizes on stage. All four presets kick ass, especially the lead channel. The clean channel sounds great with pedals of all sorts. Highly recommended.

Overall, kick ass guitar!
I've had this guitar in a cherry finish for several years and nothing is more reliable when it comes to heavier music. I use this a lot for Avenged Sevenfold covers. If considering this guitar, I would highly recommend switching out the stock pickups for Seymour Duncan Blackouts. They pair perfectly with the instrument.
