The only part of my setup that I often consider replacing. It looks great (I have the red one), and sounds ok-good through the clean channel, but doesn't have the sort of power that I would like. Mini humbuckers don't do it for me, and it sounds a bit muddy when you do overdrive/fuzz. Also, because Italia is a weird brand, getting stuff repaired is a total pain in the ass, since finding replacement parts is in some instances impossible. I lost a small part of the tremolo mechanism a little while back and haven't been able to figure out how to get it fixed since.

For perfect clean, you won't do much better than this amp. It is not without it's faults: it's bloody heavy, no footswitchable drive, and mine didn't come with a proper footswitch for the tremolo (which is lovely) - but the clean channel on this is so good you'll get over all that. In hindsight, would possibly go for the AC15 option instead, it really is a bitch lugging this fatty around ;)

This thing is incredible. Firstly, it's super easy it is to use. With new pedals it typically takes me an eternity of fiddling and adjusting to settle on a sound that I'm happy with, but with this, it took 10 minutes. Most importantly though, the sound... it's a reverb and delay in one, and you can get some beautiful tones by blending the two together, making your guitar sound like it is slowly melting into a warm gooey puddle on the floor. Kinda like a space echo sort of sound, but also kinda not really. Just try it and see :)

The 'boost' part of this pedal is good, and the character knob is nice for lead breaks and solos. A bit of tweaking and you can actually use this as an overdrive as well. I don't care much for the feedback function however, it doesn't sound at all like natural feedback to my ear, and I found it a bit awkward to use in a live setting.

The best thing is how versatile it is - you can get anything from a nice overdrive through to a fuzz if you know how to work it. Only problem is, knowing how to work it takes a lot of fiddling around. Depends what you're after I guess, 8 control knobs to contend with can be overwhelming. Everything else about it is great - solid construction, looks cool.

Does everything I want it to, is easy to use, never breaks or craps out! The tap function on this one works really well, I can use it mid song without any major difficulties. Nice to have the stereo option too.
