Smooth transition.
I bought my pioneer ddjrb back in 2016 with intent to one day be able to Mix my own tunes with the greats. After some practice and confidenice i upgraded to the ddj1000. when i say plug and play it was literally plug and play. All of my hot cues and settings were already there and now i can utilize the full potential of rekordbox. Pioneer really thought their products through and i'm extremely satisfied with the ddj1000.

Small enough to pack, big enough to perform with.
When i first started using Ableton I was pretty clueless as to what was out there as far as hardware. After taking a year to learn how to use Ableton Live, i purchased the APC40 mk2. Now my launches, channel faders, and DAW controls are at my fingertips and the controller is small enough to fit in most 17 inch laptop cases.

Size Matters sometimes.
Since i produce electronic Music to relieve the every day stress of daily life, and i am pretty ,much always this means I usually tote around my laptop and Headphones. I got sick and tired of drawing my notes so i found the smallest thing i could with keys, and didn't have patience to wait for a Korg Nano or spend much at all. so far i have used this little grasshopper on 2 tracks and i'm more than satisfied. It does what i need it to do. I'm not trying to modulate the world from work or the passenger seat of a car while my wife is driving.
