This Chinese-made Fender has been my main stage workhorse amp for the past six years. Great features, extremely loud, and pretty great tones, for a non-tube amp. She has been fantastic, but only recently started making a steady crackling noise whenever a guitar cable is plugged in. I have electronics geek-friends checking her out now, but I guess I should have spent a few hundred more for a USA-made rig. But for $300, I got some good use out of her!!
I have always coveted a Gibson Les Paul double-cutaway, but could never manage to pull the trigger on one. A few years ago I bought this beautiful beast used for less than $200. I am SO IMPRESSED with the quality, build, feel, and tone of this guitar. I'll never let her go. (Not unless somebody comes up with $210.....)
I bought this girl in Johnson City, Tennessee brand new, back in 2010 or 2011. Such a great guitar. Weird, funky looks, solid tones. Smooth neck, and extremely versatile. She has been onstage so many times, and never goes out of tune. If you can find one out and about in the pawn shops, GET IT.
