This was a trade in exchange via 1981 from a local music store I had (which I wish I had kept) a 1975 Gibson Explorer as long as I still had the Tele which decided I wanted to trade I wanted a Tele and low and behold this was brought in the same day I showed up it belonged to a member of The Outlaws who wanted a Les Paul the salesman Phil it was what I wanted if a Tele was my desire so that's how I came to own Tex not all original it had already been modified with different pickups and the finish had been stripped but the neck was in tacked and it plays like a dream I have slowly as I could effort to restore it

I have two of these that I modified by building new cabinets that house two twelve inch eminence G12 legend speakers. I covered them with tweed which I love and they are the great compliment to both my guitars and my style

This was bought in 1974 after I am sure I pestered my folks to the point of madness I was a huge Hendrix fan as my of us are, The total price with original hard shell case a whopping $225.00. I have had a relationship with Sadie longer then anyone else. She has brought me much joy, sadness, comfort and anger. She is a part of who I am can't my life without her.
