This was a HUGE step up from my Line 6 Spider IV . My good friend Mo hooked me up with a great deal on this amp. The clean tones alone on this amp are unbeatable, and really improved my sound as a whole.
This pedal is pivotal to my sound. I received it as a Christmas present from my parents and since then I haven't plugged into an amp without it. At 9 o'clock, the pedal's buffer setting is in full effect. This resurrects all signal lost through pedals and cables, and can brighten your tone to the point where it sounds like you're playing with new strings. I am yet to mess around with the "boost" and "drive" sectors of this single-knobbed machine, simply because the buffer is such a subtle, yet crucial setting for myself.
I use this almost as a fuzz for the time being. It's currently a fattening device for my rig, pumping out gainy, thick tones. Pairs incredibly with a Les Paul!
My favorite use of this pedal is for soloing. It really helps your tone cut through when it has to, and when used with my Bassman pedal... game over. I need to do more experimenting with this when my board is complete, but for right now, I love using it as a smooth, but crisp overdrive.
Thank you, Lucas Benedict, for selling this to me. Rehoused to a custom painted casing.
The perfect match for my rig, oh wowee. This was an impulse buy when I went to Music Square in Oneonta, NY. During the upcoming week, I watched a demo video of the TC Hall Of Fame and was convinced that I needed it. I saw the HoF Mini in the store, but wasn't a big fan of this edition. I asked the clerk if they had the full HoF, which they didn't, but he offered me the SkyVerb, so I plugged in a Jazzmaster on one end and a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe on the other, messed around for a few minutes, and have been hooked ever since! I'd recommend this to those who aren't looking for massive, shimmering reverberation, but for those looking for a variety of reverb in a small, compact pedal
This guitar was passed down to my dad from his grandfather. Once I started playing in bands and gigging seriously, he handed it down to me. This instrument helped fueled my love for guitar and music as a whole
I saw Moniker doing a promotion looking for artists to sponsor. I sent in an application, got accepted, and got the custom Dixie I designed at a greatly discounted rate! Moniker is great, I put some Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbuckers in there and it kicks ass!!!
