Broom Broom

Super fast, smooth, easy to use and responds really well to Ableton, Reaper and GarageBand (I don't use Garage band though). i7 Processor makes things a breeze and it is super transportable!

Fun fact: Jimi Hendrix had a meal named after him in his hay day. The Wah-Wah Bun.

This has been a great deal of fun to use in my old band. It used to have a large sweep and an awesome tone with distortion, except I think since the battery is running lower the sweep isn't quite right, probably my fault. Has a quite harsh high frequency sweep, but I still love pulling it out and playing every now and then.

The Bedroom Producer

Nice and basic. I have not spent a great deal of time on Pod Farm considering the amp models are noticeably better on the PODHD 400. But I do like the fact that it comes with phantom power and does make recording easy. Not professional quality, but if you take your time it still gets the job done. Useful Line inputs on the back make plugging in a mixer for recording nice and possible. I've recorded vocal groups, guitars (acoustic and electric), Trumpet, Bass and some electric drums. It has been a good go to tool for my beginner recording efforts!

The bedroom producer

An awesome christmas present. All of its assignable buttons makes it a truly faithful controller when working in Ableton and trying to make many midi tracks. I am still getting used to it and am yet to use the beat pads but it has proven useful for many projects.

Loop the loop, 2-track style.

I've only recently purchased this one, but it has certainly proven itself over the basic looper in the POD HD 400. Two tracks makes it SO much easier to perform a full song. I am still trying to work everything out, but it is certainly a handy piece of gear especially for a solo acoustic performer.

SOOOO Many effects!

This unit I got because well, I could. It seemed like a good idea and it has served me well in many circumstances but I find it is best used for its effects, volume pedal/wah (live) and looper, simulated amps (experimenting at home). It is hugely versatile but I find it is very difficult to play live with only the pedal. I like turning the amp simulation off and plugging into a normal guitar amp because you constantly have to adjust amp settings depending on what PA you're playing through without an amp. I wouldn't sell it, purely because of experimental purposes it has some good synths and bass octave effects to help broaden horizons. It is good for recording too but obviously there are more professional sounding options for a more 'premium' price. The looper is basic and lets you overdub but it is only single track and will only loop for 20 seconds which limits its versatility but it still is good to use to get used to looping.

Quite fun, but certainly has its disadvantages like any other multi-FX boards!

Classic and Solid.

A very versatile and solid guitar. The bridge pickup brings the "classic rock" tone to the table every time but the neck pickup is great for clean tones. The body of the guitar weighs the most and doesn't really have a good centre of gravity (Like most Les Pauls) but standing up is really quite good. The weight makes it feel solid, like you can really dig into it. Nice and smooth tuners and all the hardware has stayed rust free after 2 years by the sea. Really good guitar to play a pub with!
