Small but powerful - does the job as a monitor for vocals/keys

While small this speaker packs a punch! I use it in my solo/duo/trio gigs as my monitor which feeds vocals and keys. With 1000 watts of power it's plenty loud enough for the venues I play and with it's small footprint it's easy for load in/out.

My Primary instrument now

I perform live in solo, duo, trio, and full band gigs; the Nord Stage for me gives me everything I need; great piano, EP's, B3, and synth/samples that get through. I love the live tweaking capabilities with the synth, effects, and amp sims. Pretty costly but I have all I need with this keyboard!

Great sounding PA. As a powered PA works ok though would bottom end is lacking

I bought this when Bose first released this system. I loved the way my keys and vocals sounded, the cleanest and clearest reproduction of my voice (almost too clear lol). However, the applicability for me is limited though have occasionally used it as a FOH speaker on one side of the stage. In this scenario the bottom end won't be the same but overall the sound reproduction is great. One of my favorite pieces of equipment.

The only Stands I've used for 30 years

Ultimate Support has made great keyboard stands since I started gigging live in the 80's. The simplicity of design, ability to hold large keyboards with the extended arms, and integration of the mic stand into the keyboard stand make my setups and tear downs easier. Drawbacks with the latest model (this is my 4th in 30 years) are the placement of the mic extension on the top of the stand. Prior versions had the mic boom on the side of one of the keyboard support. Much better for flexibility than on top. The other drawback's over time are the durability of the legs that fold in. I've had multiple legs come off the tracks; the only solution is to get an allen wrench to fetch the lost leg from inside the main column. All in all still my preferred stand even with some shortcomings.

Great for the price point

I own two of these babies; both as stage monitors for band as well as keyboard monitors for my gigs.2 band EQ was great for quick tweaking of treble / bass levels, as floor wedges or stand monitors they do the job. Only drawback for me playing two keys on stage was I would need a sub mixer for my inputs. For the price it does the job.

Great powered speaker

I love this for my outdoor keyboard rig; give me the full range sound I'm looking for while provided enough power for live outdoor shows. My only knock on it is the lack of 2 or 3 band eq on the speaker as I go direct from the keys, however this is a small knock on a great product.

Great portable monitor

Great portable monitor I now use for my duo/trio gigs. With three band eq and two inputs I use this as my keyboard monitor on medium gigs as well where the stage volume isn't to loud. Not enough to compete with outdoor pa setups for that's not what's its for. Vocals are clear as day; bass get lost a bit give the speaker size but to be expected. Great addition to my gear.

Nothing beats a Hammond for B3

Love this keyboard for my rock gigs; when doing prog rock (Yes, Kansas) blues (SRV, Clapton), or any classic rock (Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd) this keyboard give me what I'm looking for. Only drawback is limited synth section but for pianos, EP's, Clavs, as well as organs this baby rocks!

Great sounds, lousy construction

This was to be my go to single board for duo/trio work; however less than one year in I had to replace a a key bank on the left side of the keyboard, and subsequently have other keys that are wobbly. Poorly made for the live musician though for studio use the sounds are great for a workstation at the mid price point.

Great for Duo/Trios and the organs are awesome!

I use this as my primary single keyboard for duo/trio gigs in small venues. I cover left hand bass on these gigs and the splits and bass samples fill the bill. Of course the pianos, organs, EP's, and clavs give me all I need on a great interface for live tweaking.

Go to Workstation

My go to workstation when needing brass, orchestral, guitar, and synth patches as well as the meat and potatoes pianos, EP's and Clavs.
