Review: QSC CP8 Speaker – A DJ’s lil best bud? – Dougie Boom

dougieboom.com

The QSC CP8 impresses with its compact design and surprising sound clarity, making it an excellent choice for DJs needing a reliable monitor. Its light weight and versatile setup options allow easy transport and placement, ideal for tight booth spaces. However, the warranty is limited compared to other QSC products, which is a drawback for such a valuable investment. While it excels in smaller settings, those seeking a full PA solution might find it lacking. Overall, the CP8 is a solid option for mobile DJs looking for quality without breaking the bank.

Small but powerful - does the job as a monitor for vocals/keys

While small this speaker packs a punch! I use it in my solo/duo/trio gigs as my monitor which feeds vocals and keys. With 1000 watts of power it's plenty loud enough for the venues I play and with it's small footprint it's easy for load in/out.
