Best ride for metal

It's too bad they don't make these anymore. Absolute beast on stage when playing rock music. This is NOT for jazz.

torisu

The most basic snare side drumhead

It's a reso head for your snare. It's pretty much all it is. Nothing special, nothing fancy.

Mean sounding batter tom head

When tuned right, this baby is a monster. Tune this thing LOOOOWWWW. Just a bit above finger tight.

Best 12" batter tom head for rock

A more raw sound for a 2-ply head; way better than Emperor Clear heads. Any modern rock record should use these, period.

torisu

Great batter drumhead

Extremely good for a metal concert snare, though not sure about a marching snare. Don’t try using these on wood concert snares.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

High tuning, 1 Moongel.

THE Best China for Rock

If you want to play rock n' roll music, this China cymbal is the best. It’s unlike most other China cymbals, and it sounds more like a really intense and trashy crash. Tightening your boom stands a bit give it a shorter, impactful sound. Great cymbal.

Too expensive

They’re really good if you have dry hands, but they’re just too expensive. Just go buy regular American Classic 5As and wash your hands before use.

torisu

Flawless Splash Cymbal

It sounds more high-pitched than most standard splashes, and it has airiness compared to other 6" splashes, making is sound like a higher-pitched 8" splash. You can ride on it too, and it sounds great.

Best Bass for Your Buck

There isn’t a Mexican Fender PJ bass that you can buy for a decent price, and I found that this bass sounds almost as good anyway. Great price tag under $200

Best Beginner Amp

This amp is everything you need if you’re on a budget. It comes with preset effects which mimic many pedals and amps, and you can create pretty much any tone you can think of.

torisu

Best ride for everything

This is the best ride cymbal I've ever used, but it's hard to come by, as it has not been made in 17 years.

Cheap guitar, gets the job done

This guitar is really cheap, but if you’re just going for a Les Paul look, it gets the job done alright. Pickups are garbage and there aren’t many tones you can get with it, but for home usage this is a fine cheap decision.

These are real heavy

These sticks are heavy. HEAVY. These are good for rocking out, but 5As are better for other uses.

torisu

Best sticks ever.

These sticks are easily the best I've ever used. If you want great sticks for all uses, get these.

torisu

Great price, great guitar

This is overall a good guitar for the price. If you want to buy your first guitar, this is a good choice.

torisu

Solid price, solid guitar

This is, in my opinion, worse than the Affinity Telecaster, but it’s still a solid guitar for the price.

torisu

Good feel for a good price

This bass guitar will not cost you that much money, but it still feels and sounds great.

torisu

Great drum set

This is a cheaper 6-piece set, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t expensive, although just over 1000 is not a bad price by any means. This set sounds alright with stock heads and cymbals, but just like any set you can customise this sucker with your own preference of heads and cymbals. Great choice for a first set.

torisu

Cheap and gets the job done

This guitar is really cheap, but if you’re just going for a Les Paul look, it gets the job done alright. Pickups are garbage and there aren’t many tones you can get with it, but for home usage this is a fine cheap decision.

torisu

Great feel, mediocre sound

Feels like a Gibson, plays like a Gibson, but the pickups aren’t great. If you’re buying one then invest in Gibson pickups.
