Description

Dive into the deep, warm timbre of the Remo Pinstripe Clear, 12" drumhead. Primed for rock, pop, and modern R&B, this drumhead delivers a focused, low pitched sound that resonates with controlled resonance and moderate attack. Its dual-ply, 6-mil Mylar film, bonded at the collar, dampens high overtones while enhancing lower frequencies, resulting in a fat, punchy sound with a quick decay that sits perfectly in any mix.

A built-in muffling ring tightens the overall resonance, taming sharp overtones for a more controlled drum sound. Tuned low, it produces a throaty, punchy tone with a short sustain, perfect for thicker, busier arrangements where drum frequencies can quickly clutter the sonic landscape. This drumhead leaves plenty of space for other instruments, cutting a huge tone while offering a balanced level of articulation and sensitivity for musical, expressive playing.

Versatile and responsive, the Remo Pinstripe Clear, 12" complements a wide range of musical genres and drum configurations. Whether on snare drums, rack toms, or as a replacement resonant head, it enhances tone and focus while providing enough durability for energetic playing styles. This drumhead is an excellent choice for achieving a precise, polished drum sound with minimal muffling or dampening required.

Best 12" batter tom head for rock

A more raw sound for a 2-ply head; way better than Emperor Clear heads. Any modern rock record should use these, period.
