I use it as a final EQ before my amp for in my room and on the go to compensate for room acoustics. nice to save settings for different places. also fun since its stereo input so you can use different EQ on left and on right when recording for a more dynamic sound. again i use it as a final stage for fx sens to not blow speakers when editing sounds.

I couldn't beat the deal of buying it used for $300. with enough inputs and outputs to solo itself on a sound card the synth can perform great. the navigation I though was going to turn me off from using it. But it is intuitive enough to not be bothersome and the virus can always be used with a vst editor making it easier to work with.

I sold a Korg Z1 for the filterbank 2. I love how this unit was designed and more importantly how it can make so much new life into any sound that passes through it. The only drawback to the unit is that I don't have a 2nd one to do stereo fx. but its not hard to just pass things through twice and expand the sound. You have to play with it to love it!

for the amount of outputs and inputs and versatility. I use the mk3 for recording bands to doing live analog fx recording with computer vsts going in and out through a daws mixer. Sound cards a must for any serious home studio work and the MK3 does it all.

for the price it is by far one of the best external soundcards to start out with. I still use mine with spdif so both computers in studio can record and send sound to eachother. after years of use I do need to think about getting the pots cleaned. the install is a little fussy but after its running it never fails.

This was my first keyboard synth and has been very reliable and durable over the years. On top of that it has a strong user base and decent vst editors making it a great synth to build new sounds with. the latch memory looper function is awesome when making your own arpegios and not needing to be frustrated with quantizing.

I love the filters and the wave tables and the free vst editor compliments it perfectly for studio use. All I have to do is turn it on and record when im ready with live tweaking and everything. Very Powerful and crisp for making sounds and simple enough to understand and use efficiently.

Takes time to set up and learn. After that it becomes a great tool in the studio for new sound beats and inspiration!

My favorite FX unit to play with. They are old now and most used units wont last long even if kept in clean environment. I have owned 4 so far. They do have tendency to great a hum in the mix if recording into an external sound card. ways to cancel it out just something to be aware of.

Owned them for a few years now. These are powerful monitor speakers and are very clean in the mid range and highs. They are clean to about 30db in the bass range then a sub woofer is needed to compliment them. just have to make sure the sub is made to spec well with the bx8.
