Great

A nice vibe pedal. At first I thought it ate up my high end, since when you engage it, it has more of a mid sound. Turns out, inside the box, there's a switch where you can adjust how much high end you would like to cut. Makes it super versitile. It would be nicer if that switch would be on the outside, though, like the Jerry cantrell crybaby.

Nice and simple

Provides good short-time delays. If you put feedback on like 4 o'clock, not much after you play the note the signal goes batshit and it destroys your ears until you bend down and turn the pedal off whilst screaming like a little bitch. So I wouldn't recommend going past noon on feedback. Not with the echo knob high anyway.

One crazy thing I noticed is that it's pretty clear with my TS and my hand-wired fuzz, but when it's on with the big muff it gives some sort of massive treble boost. Like it turns the big muff into a harsh sounding distortion. I swear, it's pretty weird. I tried it with 0 echo to see if my ears were fooling me, and they weren't. This is one weird side effect of this pedal.

You know I actually kinda want to prove this. Can we upload videos here? Is that a thing with this site? Hit me up if it is, not sure if anyone is aware of this.

Great Mic

In my country this mic is way more expensive than it is abroad, it's a bit more than double the price...if you're f*cking lucky! So glad I bought it online. Truth is it's way better than my first cheap-ass mic, which now that I think of it, they weren't THAT distant in price whatsoever. If you're on a budget, don't even hesitate to buy this, and I'll tell you why. Being a condenser, you would think this mic was built more for acoustic instrument recording, and less for vocals, right?

Not at all mate! This condenser mic on vocals, better than $100 Shure Dynamics. I f*cking CONTEND it. Now, it's no Rode NT1 when it comes to frequency response or anything. But it's way more affordable. MXL in general is very good at making budget microphones. Quite pleased with this one.

Rock Solid

Right so this one has no difference whatsoever from the blue Audiobox. Just the colour. If you searched for this one, you probably wonder one thing. I'll fill you in. YES IT IS BETTER THAN THE FOCUSRITE SCARLETT 2i2. One difference is that it doesn't have two separate Gain knobs for each input. But whatever right? The Scarlett to me doesn't sound clear enough, as if it had some built-in reverb or something.

Rarely OK Tone

Mate's guitar. So sorry but it only sounds well with the clean channel & the neck pickup. More for clean strumming in my humble opinion. Sound quite twangy on treble lead playing, not in a good way. If you ask me, a Les Paul has several downsides (neck too wide-flat, guitar too heavy, no trem etc.), and one single quality, that makes up for the rest: it's tone. This guitar doesn't even have a piece of it. Another mate of mine has a Gibson 120th anniversary Les Paul, the thing sings like a fucking bird. I KNOW I KNOW, it's not fair comparing a Gibson to an Epiphone, but you know, you'd expect something. So sorry but not a good guitar at all. Plus the dots on the fretboard look really disgusting if you ask me.

Blackstar's Only Worthy Rival

The studio where I used this amp had this one and a Marshall DSL Combo. With it's channel configuration and tone, it absolutely whopped the DSL Combo's sorry ass. It has nice channel switching, where you don't even switch any channels, you just push one button and add drive to the tone, bass mid treble stays the same. Just to clear this up, it has that drive button so that you WOULDN'T turn the gain down to 0, leave it there, and fuck the next song's solo up. Wish the acoustic playing cunt whom I had to pleasure to play on stage with knew that. Amp has nice tone, especially on overdrive, it has the best amp drive I've heard so far.

Low Noise

Been using one of these for 5-6 months now. Pretty good sound quality. Although it's not an L shape so sometimes it's tricky to pull out.

Almost Perfect

This is my friend's guitar. Beside the fact that this one has a tremolo, it's as good as mine..(almost). After couple of days of experience with this thing, I found myself wondering why the hell anyone would buy a Les Paul when there's this. It discludes all the downsides of a Les Paul: The neck isn't too wide (tbh it's the most comfortable neck I've ever played with, along with being a bit wide), it's not too heavy and it has a tremolo. Also, this guitar has crazy bends. You can bend a string 2 and a half notes like nothin with this thing. The only downside is that with the tremolo, it doesn't stay in tune. Not like all the strings go half step down or anything, but usually the G and B cause problem. Other than that, it's real good.

Best Digital Amp on the Market

Two of my friends have it. Yes it has lots of built in effects, but that's nothing really new with digital amps. What makes this one special is it's tone. Very clear tone at any channel, over any effect pedal. I used my Electro Harmonix Big Muff with my friend's Blackstar a couple of times instead of my Line 6. You would not believe the difference. Pretty good amp, also very curious to hear an analog delay over it's crunch channel.

One thing that may surprise you is that it doesn't have drive, bass, mid, treble knobs. How they got away with that is, they made two channels for each tone: clean warm-clean bright, crunch-super crunch (they probably messed around with drive and bass there), overdrive 1-overdrive 2 etc. So if you're that fruity guy who wants very precisely customised tone, that's one downside for you. The amp overall is pretty good.

Will Save the Day

This guitar is nothing fancy. But you should know that while buying it. It is an electro acoustic, but it has a battery near the jack entrance, which you need to supply in order to amplify the guitar. Yes it will work with a clean electric guitar amp with zero drive and high treble, but you can adjust that from the guitar too. If you don't put the drive on zero (even on a clean channel) it will not sound good. But it does sound alright with the correct adjustments. Acoustically too, I was surprised how loud it was when I got it, not a very big guitar either. Bottom line, it will do the job.

Don't Push It Too Far

This amp has 4 channels and a couple effects. The effects are nice, reverb's pretty good, tape echo's good although it is a little too clear (more like a digital delay). Then there's the effects you would sort of experiment with instead of adding to your tone (chorus flange, phaser, tremolo). This is the first pro of this amp.

The second one is that it has really nice smooth channel switching. You can save the custom tone you create on each channel with all the effects and the drive bass mid treble knobs, plus with one called "channel volume" (which really helps when changing to clean sounds from heavy overdrive), and when you switch from one channel to another it comes with the effects you have assigned, on the volume you have chosen, so that really helps a lot (This all being with a footswitch of course).

The downside is that...the Metal and Insane channels are shit. The Metal channel at least may be alright if you mess around with it a bit but the Insane channel is just shit. No audio engineer will ever let you put that tone in a recording. In fact I have the Insane channel's volume always on 0 and use it like a "mute" channel instead. The Clean and Crunch channels are good though, don't put much drive and you should be able to use anything over the clean channel. You know, I'm not saying this amp is bad or anything, it's a digital amp after all. What you want from it will probably decide how good it is.

You'd be surprised.

I bought this 3 months ago. Almost never recorded anything without it, even with close to no drive whatsoever, it really brings a big sound to average crunchy amp channels. And a real nice distorted rhythm tone with the drive at 2 or 3 o'clock, which is WAY better than those front-page distortion pedals, like the Boss DS-2, or MetalZone, sh*t like that.

BUT, What really makes this pedal great, is it's orgasmic clean boost. Sh*t mate, the clean tones this pedal has. Over a nice clean channel from your amp, you put this little guy at no drive and 10 o'clock tone, and he will make you question your clean playing before you met him. Terrific with arpeggios. And hey, if you want a nice bright crunchy sound but your amps crunch tone is some boring and the-exact-opposite-of-bright piece of shit (wouldn't surprise me), cranck the tone all the way with just a little bit drive. It will be way way better. Plus the true bypass helps a lot too. And it small, so it's easy to carry around and doesn't take loads of space. Seriously, this pedal is so good. 10/10 would recommend.
