Description
The VC15110 is the baby of the VC range. Built on the distinguished heritage of the VC30, the VC15 delivers great tone. 15 watts of amazingly warm or classic bluesy lead tone powered by matched EL84's and cranked out through its internal 10" speaker. If 10 inches ain't enough for you, there are two dedicated extension cabinets - the GS112VE and the GS210VE.

Blackstar's Only Worthy Rival
The studio where I used this amp had this one and a Marshall DSL Combo. With it's channel configuration and tone, it absolutely whopped the DSL Combo's sorry ass. It has nice channel switching, where you don't even switch any channels, you just push one button and add drive to the tone, bass mid treble stays the same. Just to clear this up, it has that drive button so that you WOULDN'T turn the gain down to 0, leave it there, and fuck the next song's solo up. Wish the acoustic playing cunt whom I had to pleasure to play on stage with knew that. Amp has nice tone, especially on overdrive, it has the best amp drive I've heard so far.

its secretly a single channel with a switchable extra gain stage. The preamp is a single channel ac30 top boost affair which leaves a single triode unused (on a vox its the 1 knob normal channel which is an acquired taste) but laney omitted that and added an extra gain boost with a level trim on a footswitch derived from their popular GH50 & woo JCM800-inspired amps.... anyway, its not a true channel switcher. A solid enough riff on the ac15/30 platform.

That's what i meant by "..where you don't even switch any channels". Guess it wasn't very clear. Thanks for clearing it up though.

Voxy!
This is a classic british sounding amp, more Voxy than marshall. and although no valve amp can really be used at home, this does a great job. Built in reverb, effects loop, and great tones. I love it. especially second hand for a little over £100
