Bought sept. 2016. Gorgeous, real 60's sound.
Bought in 1982. Did everything with it. Reliable, great sound.
I bought this beauty for a reasonable price in 2012 and I used till 2016 when I sold her. Now I have a custom shop jag which is very different. The sound of CIJ is clean and has the typical chime of the offsets. I recorded the first album with the Brightest Room with the CIJ, you can listen the tracks in soundcloud. I have re-bought it from the same guy I sold him to!
It s easy to manage but it could be improved if there would be no border on the foot side, they could close the box with a side on the cover in the way that you don't have a "step" and your feet can easily and quickly reach the pedals.
I played in a band with a friend who then had a bad illness and died so he left me this beautiful amp. I was playing with a reverb deluxe 65 before but the blues junior is more hot and present so I sold the reverb deluxe and now I'm playing with it. My amp has a bigger speaker and a special kit that improve brightness on the sound. It's also easy to transport for the gigs and it provide all the sound I need, little amp, great result. Thank you Sergio.
I already have a 1970 precision that you can see in my gear with dials covered in rust and the body full of scratches and bunks but I was fed up with it, so after 40 years playing it I wanted a NEW bass with all NEW chrome parts and this is my dream bass! My P is black with black pickguard I have mounted (stock pickguard is white). The neck is very easy to play and I am still using the stock strings that have a proper sound for what I play (new wave, rock n roll, punk) the P sound is very neat and answer to all my needs. It sports the "transitional logo" my favourite one, instead of "spaghetti" one that I loathe!!! (as italian I adore eating spaghetti but I never liked the fender logo!!!). This is a mexico one, I pay half the cost of a USA one but I don't see so much difference in using it. Mexico Fenders are very good instruments, I have also a Jazzmaster 2014 that is ace, you can not find this guitar used as this was a really well made guitar and no one wants to part from it.
