BS170 is softer and more round sounding while 2N7000 is tighter and fizzy on high gain.

Back in the day, started playing with this. Do not expect a good sounding multi-fx. The drum box and delays helped me practice a lot and then we started using its effects with vocals on my band. Currently there are many good and accurate sounding pedals / amp sims. I do not recommend. But It surely will be an antique. Maybe It could have some use for ultra avant-garde music ?
