I have a Limited Edition 12 Fret AJ with Red Adirondack Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides. This thing has an incredible sound and rings out like no other guitar I have. The shorter neck is nice for me since I play mostly between the 1 - 9th frets. I can't wait to take it out on a live performance. Did I mention, it's beautiful as well.
I've played at least 20 of these over the last 2 years. I found one recently that was a 2017 model and had the sweetest tone. I had to have it. Funny thing is, I was on my way to the register with a Martin D18 in hand when I saw this J-45. When I played it, I was amazed by the tone of this particular one and the fact that I was about to put down the D-18 for the J-45. I still love Martin D-18's but this J-45 has turned me into a Gibson guy. Couldn't be happier.
This little guy really surprised me. I picked up one on sale for $1199. Being the least expensive acoustic guitar Gibson makes, you'd think it would be lacking in tone. That's simply not true. This guitar holds it's own against the J-45. I get a lot of compliments when I do live worship events with this guitar. It's a simple looking guitar but the tone is really sweet, and to my ear, a cross between a Koa and a Rosewood guitar. I love this guitar and especially love the price-point. Never seen them any higher than $1500 new. If you love Gibson acoustic guitars, you gotta own one of these.
I love this mic. Never had any problems with feedback. Sounds great and it's sturdy!
If you've been using mic's for any length of time, you know this is a mainstay in the industry. It lives up to it's reputation. Amazing instrument mic!
Every time I take this out to a live worship event, folks think it's not going to produce enough sound to fill the venue. Whether it's open-air or indoor venue, it's always fills up the area with tremendous sound. Good amount of bass, great mids and treble. Very balanced sound. Very clear as well and doesn't sound cheap like some other products in its price range. Sounds like a professional amplification system. I highly recommend! Bought mine for $999 at Zzounds.com
It's a pretty good product. I wish there was more effects available for voice on it but for a 2-in-1 for voice and guitar, it's a great product.
This guitar really impresses with it's beautiful rich tone. I lead worship with it all over the DFW metroplex and I always get compliments on the sound and look of it. I put an LR Baggs M1A in it to maintain the true sound of the guitar while plugged in. Best decision ever. I don't really like undersaddle pickups. This guitar is super comfy to play with its 00-14 size. Even being a smaller guitar, it has a deep body(hence the "DB" in the 00-DB) which produces a noteable low end and prominent midrange. The highs are nice as well. You can't go wrong with this guitar. Definitely one for the collection.
I own the Billy Corgan Signature model version of this guitar in sunburst. There were only 50 made of the sunburst model and 150 of the natural model. This thing is a ringer. Strong presence and beautiful tone. Great jumbo for my acoustic arsenal. Love the beautiful sunburst finish. It has an Engleman Spruce top and solid Rosewood back and sides. Plays well strummed lightly or hard. Finger-style sounds beautiful on it. Flat picking is amazing. Great guitar for $999. Bought it at Sweetwater.com
