Most bang for buck Gibson
Went into the store with a big budget but came out with anything but a budget guitar. I tried the G45 range as well as a J45 and I just preferred this guitar. I was unaware of the pricing as well as I asked the store to take the tags off before trying. Mine has a beautiful wall it back and the playability is second to non. I’d recommend getting one of these if you can still find them as they’ve been discontinued. I use it DI’d and the pickup is great too. The G series doesn’t have the Baggs pickup which is included on this and higher end Gibson guitar.

Unique and Distinct Among the J line of Gibson Guitars
This little guy really surprised me. I picked up one on sale for $1199. Being the least expensive acoustic guitar Gibson makes, you'd think it would be lacking in tone. That's simply not true. This guitar holds it's own against the J-45. I get a lot of compliments when I do live worship events with this guitar. It's a simple looking guitar but the tone is really sweet, and to my ear, a cross between a Koa and a Rosewood guitar. I love this guitar and especially love the price-point. Never seen them any higher than $1500 new. If you love Gibson acoustic guitars, you gotta own one of these.

Erik can be seen playing this guitar in an acoustic solo performance for the song "Sleepless". He posted about the guitar on the band's Instagram. Erik received it as a graduation present from his parents and it remained his main acoustic ever since.
...I've been writing on [this guitar] since before Greatest Hits. My parents gave this guitar to me when I graduated high school (thanks Mom and Dad). Right away, I started writing an acoustic record called "Introduction" under the name Focus Ring. [...] Since then, this guitar was involved in just about everything we've done. I still write or refine most of my songs on it.
