I dunno, I've played a lot of the rocker heads and I think there's a lot more to say. Personally I like the discontinued rocker 30 best

Fair enough, maybe its a matter of taste, but I dig the more modern/high gain tones this thing gets, it seems to fit everything I throw at it

A Synth for the Fearless
This is the mono synth reimagined. You dial in your waveforms with a mixer, your triangle wave has an insane wave folder, you have 4 filter types to consider, all mod destinations have +/- polarity, and there's a SWING KNOB on the sequencer!! THANK GOD. Its all stuff that makes you go "how have I not seen this on a mono synth before?" This thing oozes character from its functions to its sounds. The oscillators are sharp and the filter is raw. It has a tendency to poke out of the mix; it is brash and will not be buried. The flip side of that is it has a wonderful midrange definition that only an analog beast could produce. But make no mistake: this sure as hell aint no moog.

The Real Deal
All analog delays are not created equal. I had a carbon copy analog delay, which traded it up to this. This thing absolutely blows it away - the sounds that come out of it are pure analog magic.

Not Just for Hackneyed 80s Sounds...
It is one thing to know what FM synthesis is about, to know ratios and values of operators, but it is another to actually connect it to the music - that is what this synth has done for me. It has showed me how vast the world of FM synthesis is, even in the limited format this synth offers. I never feel creatively limited however, even with just 4 operators and simple amplitude modulation this synth's palette is far more complex than anything a subtractive synth could offer, besides, its limitations are what keep me interested in the process. There really is a whole universe of bells, mallets, organs, voices, reeds and textures in here that are very usable, and this machine that I have randomly stumbled upon is now one of my favorites for sitting and exploring.
