Can do anything you throw at it
This amp sounds great. It is 50W, but uses 4 power amp tubes. Clean channel is real clean and lively. The distortion channel can do everything from Jimmy Page to Slipknot. You can spot the 4 gain stages clearly when dialing the gain up. Easy to find your tone. This amp has a gift for pinch harmonics. They are so easy. It doesn’t need a boost, but it takes them very well. In general it is a pedal-friendly platform. Add to that a great over-the-top reverb and you have an amp that can do it all. Seriously. I have many amps and not one can do both pristine cleans and grinding distortion. Very very good amp. 5 out of 5 stars!

One of the greates amps ever made!
You know it is the right amp when three things happen at one time. First, time flies by and you just simply can't stop playing. Second, no pedal is required to make up tone because everything sounds perfect with a guitar and a cable. Third, you feel the floor literally shaking. This amp can do every genre of music - jazz, blues, hard rock, metal - you name it, Rockerverb will get you there. Loud as milion of screaming Spartan warriors, build like a tank, sounds like a heaven!

Love that sound !
The last couple of years I played alot of high gain amps (still have my EVH 5150 III), but when I tried the Orange Rockerverb I got hooked !
Thees Amps really does it all ! For me they have the mix of the really good old Marshall Amps, just with a little more gain.
Now I just use my Orange RV 50W for Metal, Stoner and rock, but buy the 50W and not the 100W ! You can really push those tubes with the 50W and get the greate tone

heaviest distorted tone ive played
The clean channel is a bit flat, so i just use the distortion and roll the gain back. I got it more so because i wanted the look of an orange. I use a Local Byron bay pedal makers distortion for my heaviness.

In this video of a Jesu/Sun Kil Moon performance Justin Broadrick can be seen using an original Orange Rockerverb. At 5:18 you can see the clean channel of the amp has a two band EQ distinguishing this amp from the MKII and MKIII versions.

There is no glare on the amp face, and it is much more clear how many knobs on this model, knob sizes, as well as that the pictures are above the knobs and not behind on some Orange models.
