My Gear 17

I love this cab! I replaced the original speakers with Eminence Legends, when one of them got damaged.
Made in China, but haven't had any issues. Class D power supply with a tube preamp. Using mine as a bedside table; keep it plugged in, so I can practice. Sounds great. I have the only 300 watt, Ampeg bedside table. But, I had to take the handle off of the top.
More drivers isn't always better. The more drivers, the more likely that they are all balanced armatures. BAs are great for mids and highs, but lack bottom end. These have a larger dynamic driver and 1 balanced armature. They separate instruments well, have a great sound stage. Bottom end is great. It's not muddy like civilian high grade headphones. The bottom end is definitely there, but it's clear. I use these for work ( I do video calls all day) and to listen to music. I would recommend that bassists go with 1DD and no more than 2 BA, one for mids and one for highs.
No Driver; just balanced armatures; not great for bassists.
2 pin, 0.75mm connection. Absolutely fantastic battery life. I haven't had any connection issues. Can be used for phone calls too. Im working from home, do a huge amount of video calls. The charge lasts all day. Uses very little power in standby. Great call quality on both ends of the line. This is my 3rd set. My puppy got to the first set, I got the second set wet (they aren't water resistant; sweat isn't an issue though). If I were still in a band, I'd buy 3 or sets at the same time, so I would always have a fully charged pair ready to go.
