Trash 2
Izotope Trash 2 is a somewhat unique mult-fx, multiband distortion and compression plug-in. It can add very subtle and warm saturation, or hard and aggressive distortion, so it works well with sound design, mixing and mastering.
Trash 2 has sadly been discontinued recently, but Izotope have teased a newer version.
Works nicely with analog synthesizers and guitars
The Wet Stereo pedal is by far my favorite pedal. By default it offers a smooth and comforting reverb which pairs nicely with analog synthesizers and guitars. With the free Expanse Software you can transform your Wet Stereo using USB to a different pedal. These pedals include:

Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor
Definitely one of my favorite compressors, but I have two issues with it. Certain design choices like dual mono made sense on the original hardware unit, but in a virtual emulation, you can use as many instances as you want. Also the controls are way to close together, it probably works on the hardware unit, but in the software version, it quickly becomes cluttered and confusing.
If you are able to ignore this, it's a really good bus and master compressor.
