Does a nice job, mostly. I like the plate reverb settings for that early rockabilly slap-back sound, and hall settings for most other things.

I think they come with Celestion Greenback speakers now; just incredible tones outa this thing. I live in that range between clean and distorted, keeping my neck pickup volume low, so it sounds clean, and then the bridge all the way up so it's nice and crunchy.

I borrowed one from a friend, and he was about ready to break into my place to get it back. I know why; its as if the pedal splits your output, making channel A overdriven and channel B clean and compressed. Its like you're jamming with yourself; one clean and one distorted. And you can play with the blend, as well, making the attack more distorted than the decay, or vice-versa. Amazing pedal.

Sounds really great; its like a TS-9 that's been put through an EQ. Really nice tone.

I used to have a silver face(early to mid-70s) Fender Vibrosonic Reverb, which was basically a Twin Reverb with one 15" speaker. I gave it away when I was cleaning house, and I should have held on to it. It needed some work, and I just didn't want to deal with it, but in it's heyday, it sounded amazing.

So, I really dig the clean, stereo-panning chorus sound a lot. I find that this one has a great deal of flexibility and range, with a wide array of cool sounds to play with, as long as you're looking for chorus.

I know, I know, Boss pedals - what am I, in high school? But they sound really good, so I keep using them. This one is great.

I have the Valve Junior Head, which I play through a Carvin 2x12 extension cabinet. I want to get better speakers for it, because I feel like they blunt it's performance a bit. It really cranks for such a tiny amp. Full of dynamic promise and glassy to gritty grind.

I lucked out and found a lefty that had already been modded. With open-coiled Gibson pickups ('57 Classic, neck/498T, bridge), and a wrap-around Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece, this thing gives me the dynamic control, shapeable feedback, and overall versatility to play just about anything I want.

I have always been impressed by the versatility of this pedal; in front of a clean solid-state amp, it can deliver the flexible crunch-to-grind qualities of a hot tube amp. You can get everything from tweed Fender to growling modern half-stack out of this one pedal, and it gives you dynamic control, too. Back off, and it's sweet and clean-ish; dig in, and feel the burn.
