Yanni used a Yamaha DX7 in his albums and concerts up until 1997. You can see it used in the first part of this video. He used it for many of his famous sounds such as his Guitar (Keys to Imagination) and Harmonica (Reflections of Passion) pacthes. It was also used as the "Crash" sound that is heard in 'Santorini'.

Yanni used the E-Mu Emulator III for a short period of time from about 1989 to 1994. It can be seen in the Live at the Acropolis video being used as the main sound for 'Santorini'. It is the large grey console on the top-left tier (Yanni's top-right).

Yanni used this keyboard in his 1993 live concert at the Herodes Atticus Theatre in Athens, Greece. The concert was later published as the live album and concert film "Live at the Acropolis". The piano sound of the keyboard can be heard when Yanni is playing his famous song "Satorini".
