Great for the price

For the price, this is a no-brainer. Sounds and works great! Love the reverb.

Impressed

I have been pondering about ampless setups for a while. My bad back is tired of carrying heavy tube amp combos. Whilst I still keep my tube amps, I bought this as a solution to the weight problem. I usually play gigs and practice with in-ears. The DC30 impressed me. Semi clean, with a compressor in front of it sounded great! Could have fooled me in a blind test versus a miked up AC30. The weak points of this pedal are some overdrives. It can sound a tad hairy, and I need to tinker more with the settings. But over all, I was really impressed!

Great versatile amp

Takes pedals really well, nice clean channel and killer drive channel.

Top notch drive!

I have owned many overdrives over my 22 year guitar journey. I tend to gravitate towards TS style overdrives with pronounced mids. This one blew my mind, and can do the TS thing, as well as more transparent sounds and everything in between. This is easily the most versatile and best sounding drive pedals I have ever played! An unsung hero. I dont get why its not more popular.

Too spikey, ok for cleans.

Tried to use this with my PSR MT-15, which was designed with a Vintage 30 in mind. Clean it sounds ok, but with whatever dirt, wether from the amp itself or a pedal, it sounds tinny and spikey, almost like a bad fuzz pedal. Seems like it lies in the very upper midrange territory.

Fantastic for its price!

I had been wanting a Friedman BE-OD for some time, but could never justify the price tag. Then I found out about this bad mofo. Man o man was I surprised. Put a TS type pedal in front of it for even more tightness and classic rock sounds. Really sounds like a hot rodded Marshall. It`s a bargain!

Great sound, bad build quality

First of all, the sound is great, especially on the drive channel. Fender esque cleans and Marshally drive sound. But, its built like a lego amp. Gets super hot, and after 4 weeks the drive channel died. Mind you, I bought this used, but its the only amp I have owned that just stops working all of a sudden. The seller was kind enough to give me a refund. Not buying this model again. Too bad, because I loved the sound.

Bad build quality.

Had mine for ten years now, treated well and never dropped it in the ground or anything. All of the sudden it stopped working, and these things are not built to open up or fix. A fun gadget, but not worth its price at all.

Great one!

Great pedal for gain stacking! Using this at the edge of breakup in front of a Tubescreamer type pedal.

Love it!

Always wanted a casino. This looks the part and plays like a dream. Instant Beatle sound!
