You can't think of a sound (save for Randall based rigs) that you can't emulate with this thing. Scary good tone.

Indestructible travel guitar.
And I MEAN it. Rowdy travelers may be easily subdued by a couple quick swings of this solid axe. Big thick baseball bat neck but wonderfully buttery smooth fretwork and phenolic resin fretboard. The EMGs it came with I ripped out since they sounded horrid and put in X2Ns, but I may change that again in the future.

Good tremolo system, HORRID fretwork.
This fretwork feels like it was finished by insane asylum patients. I've bought pawn shop guitars with better fret ends. Plus if you vibrato too much, the fret crunches underneath the string after a while. Not good. Petrucci LiquiFire neck and ToneZone bridge.

Very nicely made economy jazzbox that is a reasonable approximation of Steve Howe.
Stock everything, but mine has no Bigsby.

Actually superbly manufactured and finished.
Mine's metallic teal green. DiMarzio Area '58 Neck and reverse wound middle pickups, and Area '61 in the bridge. CTS controls, Sprague orange drop capacitors, full foil RF shielding, Angela Instruments steel tremolo block, GraphTech StringSaver saddles. Rock steady tuning.

1983 actually
Mine's from '83 with the hockey stick headstock, but made from white korina. 496R and 500T Super Ceramic pickups, .009 Ernie Ball RPS Titanium strings.

Bought new in the service
Big thick baseball bat neck, but super solid for downtuning if need be. '57 classic neck, 500T Super Ceramic bridge. Dunlop strap locks, Schaller tuners, .009 Ernie Ball RPS Titanium wound strings. Emerald green transparent finish (1998), rosewood fretboard, dot markers.

SOLID neck.
Also a 1977 model, mine is a Norlin maple neck. Yup, solid maple. Makes for an interesting change of pace, a bit more midrangey resonance. I call her Marie since like Marie Antoinette she lost her head as well. A luthier skillfully rejoined it before I got her and no problems. 496R and 500T super ceramic pickups, .009 Ernie Ball RPS Titanium strings. Dunlop strap locks.

Worth every penny
Stellar durable fretwork, NO, I repeat NO dead spots on the fretboard. Every square inch is resonant. Every note you grab sings.
