SOLID neck.

Also a 1977 model, mine is a Norlin maple neck. Yup, solid maple. Makes for an interesting change of pace, a bit more midrangey resonance. A kind luthier repaired my failing tenon joint in 2004 and no issues since. '57 Classic neck and 500T Super Ceramic bridge, Schaller tuners, .009 Ernie Ball RPS strings Titanium wound

Mike Campbell is confirmed to have owned a Gibson Les Paul Standard with a B-Bender, as evidenced by a listing on Reverb.com. The guitar shows signs of wear, including scratches, dents, scuffs, buckle rash on the back, and yellowed binding beginning to crack. The B-Bender was added later in the guitar's life, and there is a hole in the top from its installation. Notably, the instrument features one black pickup ring and one white pickup ring with some missing screws, and the tuning pegs have been replaced. The proof of ownership and condition details are provided by the listing titled "Gibson Les Paul Standard w/ B-Bender Owned by Mike Campbell" on Reverb.
