excellent must-have delay modeler with a couple caveats
i love the tape, mod, reverse, and slapback modes the most, and the audio tap feature is nice, although i wish i could use my foot as well. that deserves one star off. the other thing is that you can't do the wacky pitch shifting and time shifting effects by turning the delay and feedback knobs! always a fun thing to do, especially for recording. i can of course live without that, and for the models and the sound of the delay, the stereo in/out, the audio based tap tempo feature, the subdivision toggle, and of course the price point, this is a really solid delay to have in your setup.

Great all-in-one PA
Single line array all-in-ones are the future of small room performances. You don't need to be loud, and the whole room, especially the back of the room, will hear your set crystal clear. Can't wait to get the subwoofer expansion. The wide dispersion is OK but what the arraying is really good for in this case is the 'throw' of the system. It will preserve clarity over long distances. Feedback is not much of an issue at all, and the phase flip buttons and notch filters take care of any issues quickly. I use it for the AUX IN, plug in a mic, and my pedalboard, and I'm good to go. I love this thing. It is really compact and sounds great on its own but is also expandable. Great product from Fishman.

the original wheels of steel
first of all, the classic style of tech 12's are unmatched. these are the original wheels of steel. it is extremely heavy, 26 lbs, but is built like a rock and everything on this can be repaired or replaced. i need to send mine out to fix a bad right channel issue that requires i jiggle the ground wire a bit until the AC hum is gone, but the experience of handling this thing, adjusting the pitch to get the strobe dots staying still, balancing the tonearm, lowering the cue, is unmatched. there is a whole ritual with using this thing that i cherish. don't bother with an automatic belt drive with a built-in preamp. you want something like this for the full experience of cuing up a record. love it.

The best interface for Ableton
As a guitarist, the isometric layout of the Push just makes sense for forming chords. The scales feature, sequencer, finger drumming, are all a joy. In the past I had some various midi controllers from novation and m-audio, and with Ableton, they are a joke in comparison. If you are serious about producing with Ableton without a question you WILL own a Push. They shouldn't sell the software without it!

So much fun to use
They're all great, and it's an amazing value compared to trying to piece together vintage hardware. Favorites of the bundle are the Farfisa, CS-80, Moog Modular, and Prophet 5. Look, like many heavyweight plugins, this crashes Ableton once in a blue moon. But would that 'amazing' deal on a Prophet 5 on eBay have such resiliency? Good luck if something on your vintage synth breaks! Honestly, I don't care about the crashes. These recreations of the classic synths sound absolutely fantastic. The interface is incredible, and more importantly resizable and scrollable, and Arturia adds features like effects chains and sequencers to synths that didn't have it originally. GET IT NOW (especially since the price drop)

very fun, price to performance is great
a little harsh sounding but with some fx, this thing can sound great. i've learned a lot about how to really 'program' a synth with the minilogue.

free DX7 vst, light cpu, amazing sounds, tons of patches on the web
no, it's not as powerful as FM8, but my god, as far as softsynths go, this one is 1) FREE and 2) really light on CPU (a few percent at tops on my quad core amd) and sounds amazing. plus there are tons of patches because it's a DX7 in a VST package, and DX7 patches are everywhere on the internet for free. you gotta get this VST. plus if you own a Volca FM (planning on getting this), you can prototype and send your patches here.

essential for sequencing multiple Korg Volcas
quintessential for a Korg Volca setup (and of course more). sequencing up to 4 volcas from live, even transmits MIDI power for powered cabled like the RK-002!

so comfy
the earcups are so soft and fit my huge ears. the bass response is not great but i like them best for vocal monitoring and checking panning and some detail work (although i prefer monitors)
