Great for beginners and for on the go work!

This is a great midi keyboard both for producing (beginners) and also to take it when on the road and doing live sets!!

If not THE best..they're not far behind!

This headphones are one of THE best out there! Most DJs/Producers would agree with this. They are everything a DJ needs! They are durable, light, look good and the sound is amazing for its price! The only downside is that they are a little bit tight. They are great for the studio too!!

Basic! Durable but disappointed!

This headphones are trendy, durable and are good at noise cancelling BUT the sound is basic. They would normally cost £80 but i got them on sale for £50. They are lacking in every aspect, you can barely hear the mids, the bass is decent and well the highs completely overwhelm. Definitely not headphones for DJs!

Useful!!

First of all a controller is nothing nothing like a pair of CDjs and a mixer but I must say this is a good piece of equipment. The best feature about this product is that there is no need for a laptop to mix live (of course you have to import your tracks into rekordbox then your USB beforehand but once you've done that you're ready to go!) Most clubs already provide the equipment but once in while when there is a house party or there is a venue that doesn't provide the equipment this comes in handy, it is accurate, easy to understand and most of all easy to set up. It will save you a lot of hassle!!

Good sounding monitors!

I use these monitors mainly for mixing tracks at home, they sound great and give accurate feedback when I do my transitions. I also use them to listen to my finished projects but never while doing a project as they are not as accurate and precise as my KRK Rokit 5s are when doing studio work. Overall they are good sounding monitors IF you get them for the right price! I got mine for £140 which seems reasonable

Great classic headphones!

I absolutely love this headphones, there are obviously better headphones out there in terms of sound (mids/highs/lows blah blah blah) BUT for the price I think this headphones are great sounding! I use them mostly for Djing and for beatport to test if my house music purchases got enough bass! They do a really good job at both things!! I wouldn't consider them for studio use as they are not as accurate enough! (Go for the Audio-Technica ATH M50X instead) Overall they are really good headphones to take with you to the DJ booth! They are durable (7 years and still sound great, only need to replace the ear pads) They have that classic feel and look which I love and they are amongst my favourite considering I've owned many headphones including the Sennheisers hd 25 1 II!

Great for beginners and professionals BUT has downsides

Pros In regards to beginners this controller is great! It comes with a handy manual, is easy to set up, just set up the software plug in and you're ready to go. It comes at a descent price, has limited effects but why do you need effects when your just starting, first master the basics then move on to the effects. Once you master the basics then you can upgrade to serato dj.

The ddj sb is also great for professionals, its not heavy so you can basically take it anywhere, from a small house party to and underground rave if you're the kind of dj that likes to stick with your own equipment.

Cons When it comes to ddj sb the only slight bad thing i found was the beat matching, in fact i found out that it had nothing to do with the product it self but the software. The ddj sb comes with the intro version of serato, when mixing and beat matching the tempo sliders are smooth but the software is not often accurate and so you're forced to use the sync button (which I'm highly against).

Overall, the controller is great! Its just the intro software that lets it down.

My first ever monitors and I LOVE them!!

Great sound!! When it comes to producing they do a really good job although the bass can be a little bit too much sometimes, it all depends on which genre of music you work on really. In the other hand, when it comes to mixing or djing they are descent but not quite right for the job as the bass overpowers the transition from one track to another and you can't really tell if your beat matching is on point or slightly mismatched. Overall they are great if you use them for the right reasons..which is PRODUCING!!
