Simplicity is beautiful
This pedal provides you with whatever type of shakiness you could possibly want.

Complicated but worth it
You need a PhD and an oscilloscope to figure out how to operate this thing, but once you do, you'll be rewarded with a few great sounds. Instant desert rock in a box. Too dark for anything else.

Unapologetic filth
I like to use this pedal as a lead pedal because of the crazy mids boost that Mode II gives you. Put it in front of your usual dirt set like a boost, and punch it when you're ready to lead. Your tone will come right out into your face.

This is easily the most underrated amp of all time. It has one channel. That channel is called rock and roll.

Secret weapon of a lead pedal
It says it's a bass pedal. It sounds awesome on bass too. I use it on guitar. Yes, it sounds a lot like the bubble font Big Muff we all had in 1997. However, the crossover controls make this thing a valuable lead pedal. If you like the Russian Muff sound, this pedal has that (It's probably my favorite new age EHX Muff clone), but you can set the crossover knobs to give you a cocked-wah sound that makes your tone poke through the mix for leads.

My go-to overdrive
This thing is so much more useful than a TS9. A TS9 makes guitars sound a little naked because they suck away your bass and boost your mids. The low end control on this pedal is a perfect remedy for that. You can get that TS9 sound AND still sound like fat thunder. Or something. Sounds good when you use it to add grit to a clean signal. Sounds nasty when you boost a driven Marshall. It's the perfect overdrive.

Better than the MXR
It's warmer, more natural, and more versatile than the Phase 90. The color switch can take you from Waylon Jennings to outer space.

The most useful OD ever
I run this thing into a mixer from the direct out mainly for electric guitar, but it's great for acoustics as well. The direct out is not the best cab simulator you can find, obviously, but it does a fantastic job of giving warmth and amp-like qualities to a setup that's essentially a pedal into a mixer. The EQ is powerful if you want it to be. The clipping is as fat or tight as you want it to be. Just a lot a customizable options. And the boost is a good feature too. Only drawback is hiss when you dime everything and boost it, but what drive pedal doesn't have that? For the price, you can't find a more useful tool.

The best Russian Big Muff. Period.
I ordered this because I was hunting the bubble-font sound of my first Big Muff that I had as a kid (because nostalgia). I tried the Russian Pickle, which is fantastic, and the EHX reissue, which is also fantastic, but this one is exactly what I needed. It’s obviously grittier and subtly gainier, but it just explodes in a way no other reissued Russian does. If you can find one, buy it ASAP and hope they make more.
