Bam Bam was a pioneering rock band that emerged from the vibrant Seattle music scene in the early 1980s. Formed in 1983 by producer and guitarist Tommy Martin, the group was fronted by the dynamic and trailblazing vocalist Tina Bell, one of the first African American women to lead a hard rock/punk/grunge band in the U.S. Over the years, Bam Bam's lineup included notable musicians such as Matt Cameron (drums), who would later join Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Their music, a fusion of grunge, riot grrrl, queercore, punk, and underground grunge, positioned Bam Bam as a significant force in shaping the Seattle sound, even sharing stages with the likes of Alice In Chains and Soundgarden.
