Chrome is an avant-garde rock band originating from San Francisco in 1976, known for their pioneering contributions to the genres of space rock, experimental rock, and industrial music. The group was initially formed by Damon Edge (vocals, drums, tape manipulation), Mike Low (vocals, guitar), John Lambdin (guitar), and Garry Spain (bass, electric violin, Moog). However, Chrome's defining sound emerged with the addition of Helios Creed (guitar, vocals) after Low's departure.
