FCL is a Belgian deep soul house duo renowned for their infectious grooves and soulful rhythms. The group consists of Bart Van Neste (also known as Red D) and Nicolas Geysens (known as San Soda). FCL has carved out a niche in the electronic music scene by seamlessly blending classic house elements with a rich, soulful twist. Their music is characterized by its deep, driving basslines and emotive vocal samples, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern.

The sonic character of FCL's music is warm and rhythmic, with an emphasis on creating a danceable atmosphere that feels both intimate and expansive. San Soda's use of vintage drum machines like the Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer and Roland TR-707 Rhythm Composer provides a classic house rhythm that is both punchy and dynamic. To add depth and texture, effects processors such as the Rodec / Sherman Restyler and the Roland RE-201 Space Echo are employed to infuse tracks with a rich, analog warmth.
