Roadrunner United was a groundbreaking project orchestrated by Roadrunner Records to commemorate its 25th anniversary. This unique musical endeavor brought together an impressive lineup of 57 artists from 45 bands associated with the label. The project was spearheaded by four prominent "team captains": Joey Jordison (then Slipknot drummer), Matt Heafy (Trivium frontman and guitarist), Dino Cazares (Fear Factory guitarist), and Robb Flynn (Machine Head frontman and guitarist). They collaborated to produce and oversee 18 tracks across a spectrum of metal genres, including metalcore, alternative metal, groove metal, nu metal, and melodic metalcore. The result was The All-Star Sessions, an album showcasing the collaborative spirit and diverse talent within the Roadrunner family.
