Grim Reaper is a British heavy metal band that emerged from the thriving New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) scene in the early 1980s. Founded in Droitwich, England, circa 1979 by guitarist Nick Bowcott, the group is renowned for its potent blend of metal, hard rock, and speed metal. The band's classic lineup includes Steve Grimmett (vocals), known for his powerful and melodic vocal delivery, Nick Bowcott (guitar), whose inspired guitar work drives their sound, Dave Wanklin (bass), and Mark Simon (drums). Grim Reaper gained significant attention with their debut album See You in Hell and continued to build their legacy with subsequent releases.
