Indigenous is a Native American blues-rock group hailing from the Yankton Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Comprised of siblings Mato Nanji (vocals and guitar), Pte (bass), Horse (percussion), and Wanbdi (drums, vocals), the band draws inspiration from their musical father, Greg Zephier, and cultural roots. Indigenous blends elements of blues, electric blues, and modern blues with Native American contemporary influences, creating a unique sound that resonates with both traditional and modern audiences. Their debut album, Things We Do, garnered critical acclaim and established them as a powerful voice in the blues-rock genre.
