Love Spit Love is an American alternative rock band formed in New York City in 1992, emerging as a creative continuation of vocalist Richard Butler after the breakup of the iconic band, the Psychedelic Furs. The group's lineup includes Richard Fortus (guitar), Frank Ferrer (drums), and initially Tim Butler (bass), later replaced by Chris Wilson. Known for their fusion of alternative rock and pop rock elements, Love Spit Love gained attention with their 1994 self-titled debut album, featuring the hit single "Am I Wrong," and a memorable cover of The Smiths' "How Soon Is Now?"
