About
Lucybell is a pioneering Chilean rock band that has been a cornerstone in the Latin rock scene for nearly three decades. Emerging from Santiago, Chile, their music is a vibrant blend of Rock en Español, Latin rock, and Chilean indie. Originally formed by Claudio Valenzuela (vocals, guitar), Gabriel Vigliensoni (keyboards), Francisco González (drums), and Marcelo Muñoz (bass), the band underwent lineup changes, with Eduardo Caces joining on bass and Cote Foncea on drums in later years. Notable albums like Peces, Viajar, and Lucybell have cemented their status as influential figures in Latin alternative music.

Lucybell's sound is characterized by dynamic and atmospheric guitar layers, creating a sonic landscape that is both melodic and immersive. The use of Gibson Firebird V and Fender Competition Mustang guitars by Claudio Valenzuela contributes to their compelling riffs and textured soundscapes. Amplifiers like the Marshall G80R add a rich, warm tone that complements their expansive arrangements. The incorporation of modulation and delay effects, such as the Boss DD-7 Digital Delay, enhances their music's depth and rhythmic complexity, offering a sound that is both evocative and layered.
