Mountain is an American rock band renowned for their powerful fusion of rock, blues rock, and hard rock, with elements of psychedelic and Southern rock. Formed in 1969, the band originated from Long Island, New York, and became a significant force in the classic rock era. The core members include Leslie West (vocals, guitar), known for his commanding guitar work and distinctive voice, and Felix Pappalardi (bass, vocals), who brought his production expertise from working with Cream.
