Nothingface was a dynamic presence in the alternative metal scene, emerging from Washington, D.C., in 1994. The band was comprised of Matt Holt (vocals), Tom Maxwell (guitar), Bill Gaal (bass), and Chris Houck (drums), with Houck later being replaced by Tommy Sickles. Known for their intense blend of metal, alternative metal, industrial metal, groove metal, rap metal, rap rock, nu metal, and heavy metal, Nothingface crafted a sound that was both aggressive and melodic, characterized by heavy riffs and punk rock energy. Their discography includes seminal albums like Pacifier, An Audio Guide to Everyday Atrocity, and Violence, which marked their major-label debut.
