Plains is an Americana and alt-country duo formed by Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee and Jess Williamson. Emerging from a shared admiration for each other's work, Plains was conceived as a project to explore new creative horizons. The duo's sound is steeped in the storytelling traditions of country music, characterized by evocative lyrics and harmonious vocal interplay. Their debut album, I Walked With You A Ways, is a testament to their collaborative synergy, capturing the essence of Southern landscapes and heartfelt narratives.
