About
Stream of Passion is a Dutch-Mexican symphonic metal band known for their dynamic fusion of progressive rock, progressive metal, and gothic rock elements. Formed in 2005 by Arjen Anthony Lucassen and Marcela Bovio, the group initially included members Johan van Stratum (bass), Davy Mickers (drums), Lori Linstruth (lead guitar), Alejandro Millán (keyboard, piano), and Marcela Bovio (vocals, violin). Over time, the lineup evolved, but Bovio's powerful and emotive vocals remained a constant. Their music combines symphonic orchestration with heavy guitar riffs and intricate melodies, creating an evocative and dramatic soundscape.

Stream of Passion's music is characterized by its rich, layered soundscapes that blend orchestral elements with the intensity of metal. The band's sonic palette is both melodic and aggressive, utilizing a combination of lush string arrangements and distorted guitar riffs.
