How to Sound Like The Rezillos
The Rezillos' sound is characterized by its high-energy, melodic punk rock infused with quirky, campy elements. Their music often features raw and driving guitar riffs, which are punchy and rhythmic, creating an infectious energy that propels their songs. The use of synthesizers, such as the Roland SH-09, adds a layer of retro-futuristic texture, giving their sound a distinctive new wave edge. The guitars often have a bright, jangly quality, utilizing simple but effective chord progressions that capture the essence of both punk's rawness and pop's catchiness.
