Wild Flag is an American rock supergroup celebrated for their dynamic blend of riot grrrl and queercore influences, injecting a fresh burst of energy into the indie rock scene. The band originated from a union of seasoned musicians: Carrie Brownstein (vocals, guitar) and Janet Weiss (drums), both from the iconic Sleater-Kinney; Mary Timony (vocals, guitar) of Helium fame; and Rebecca Cole (keyboards, vocals) from The Minders. Emerging in 2010, Wild Flag quickly became known for their powerful performances and a self-titled debut album that captured the raw exuberance and rebellious spirit of their sound.
