Wynder K. Frog was a dynamic jazz/blues band formed in 1967 by keyboardist Mick Weaver, who also went by the alias "Wynder K. Frog." The ensemble's lineup saw several changes, but its most notable members included Neil Hubbard (guitar), Alan Spenner (bass), Chris Mercer (saxophone), Anthony Reebop Kwaku Baah (percussion), and Bruce Rowland (drums). Known for their exploration of jazz-funk, Northern soul, soul jazz, and jazz rock, the group captivated audiences with their energetic performances and innovative arrangements. The band's sound was anchored by Weaver's expressive Hammond B-3 organ, which was central to their musical identity.
