On The Sonic Youth Gear Guide website it states that in 1995 Thurston began using a Mu-Tron Wah/Vol and that he used it up until the bands split.

Phil Manzanera's guitars are a Red 1963 Custom Firebird Black Beauty and a 1957 Les Paul Custom.
