Custom shop level road worn tele with a fantastic color

The color is bottle rocket metallic blue flake. J Mascis liked the color on some Pearl drum set he saw and had his 58 Tele painted this way. Looks spectacular in person- better than most sparkle flake finishes I've seen. The road worn look is restrained and perfect on the maple fretboard. It annoys me when the relic-ers go overboard and make a fretboard look moldy or rotten. The neck feel is chunkier than most C shapes but very comfortable. I've read about QC issues for some others with the frets but that was not the case with mine. There was a very slight sanding required on one edge of the truss rod skunk stripe on the back of the neck - but that was not a deal breaker, just within the expectations for a MIM lately. The pickups are high output with an out of phase center position. They sound great with distortion or Fuzz- recommend Hizumitas. There are mods out there where you can install a push-pull for in and out of phase modes. Overall a very solid Tele. If you can get it for sub1K, you get a deal.

Portable Vox in a pedal sized box

Nutube driven and capable of VoxAC 15 overdriven tones. This was the base small amp design for the recent releases with the "Brian May signature." Save yourself some quid and give it a go.

MIM quality control

Nice Vintera Jag but beware of some issues with the Pau ferro fretboards. The fret bars themselves were jutting out slightly at the tang part along the edge. Pau ferro is vulnerable to the same climate/humididty change in dry winter air. The guitar itself is excellent. good quality internals, Jags and JMs require careful set up- mine needed a shim for neck relief. If Fender ever gets their QC back to par, the vinteras will be the best mid tier option.

great combo reverb and caverns delay

This combines the Loomer reverb with the Caverns delay with some notable differences. The reverb doesn't go full wet signal, unlike the Loomer but it does have modulation with a nice tremolo arm effect with the depth pot. Both delay and reverb can be set to trails or true bypass by internal dipswitches. Some may complain about the lack of stereo inputs/outputs but Keeley cleverly added TRS input mode with another internal switch which allows splitting signal from guitar to the input and a separate chain with reverb at the end of pedal chain before amp. A great 2 in 1 which fills a lot of shoegaze and ambient needs. Those who already own a Loomer and Caverns may opt to skip this , otherwise it's definitely worth a spot on your shoegaze board.

Classic practice amp, vibrant tremolo

The 1976 tube amp- great classic clean tones from this champ. Can be driven at higher volumes and it has an amazing tremolo. Upgraded the stock speaker and it's ideal for bedroom volumes- not too loud with plenty of low response.

Perfect practice amp for bedroom volume

I've had so many recommendations for small studio practice amps which let me down (too loud or short on features). Finally got a Marshall Dual Super Lead that you can take down to 0.1W -This was a god send and perfect for quieter practices in my space. The classic gain and ultra gain channels give you the convenience of getting the Marshall crunch or high gain tones at a touch of a button. Highly recommended.

One of the best mini amps

Portable, battery powered and it has surprisingly good clean and OD tones for such a small speaker. You can run it to an external speaker as well but results will vary- probably nothing bigger than 6.5-8"

great headphone amp

Simple to use, great tones, chorus-delay - reverb for effects. Handy on the go or for quick practicing with no bulky set up.

awesome pairing of reverb +fuzz

Includes a reverse reverb with a blend. the fuzz can be dialed into moderate distortion levels. You have the control to place the order of the effects in chain. A classic from Keeley. A must have for MBV fans.

Versatile tones top line JM

The neck satin finish is superior to most jazzmasters i’ve tried. The series/parallel as well as coil tap give a nice variety of tones. V-mod 2 single coils have a wider range than the older ones. The panorama trem is the show-stopper with an adjustable tension trem arm that pops securely in and has a much wider vibrato range than the avri or classics. Fender got this one right. Much better JM than the older ampro1.

Versatile nano amp with nice features

It's a 5W nano amp , so I wasn't expecting miracles. If you use it with a small to medium sized cab or speaker you will get nice results. A lot of usable gain at medium volumes (I don't go past 2 o'clock) and good crunch at high gain. Does it sound like a Marshall plexi ? No, I think it is a modest approximation of a Marshall plexi for a practice amp and with a 4 to 8 ohm speaker. I like the FX loop in the back. Many small nano amps don't have that option.

lightweight, high quality Japan made Jazzmaster

Awesome Japan made JM with a Basswood body. The neck is a "U" shape with slightly chunkier shoulders which might throw off players used to the thinner C necks. The neck is a dark roasted maple which looks and sounds great. The tone from the V mod pickups is warm but full. I've heard some complain about CIJ JMs having strat like pickups but that's not the case here. These are closer to the Am Pro I V-mods with medium wide windings. The weight is 7.4lbs for the CIJ, so if you are looking for a lightweight Jazzmaster with a high quality finish and American made hardware (CTS pots) , this is it.

Deluxe Carbon Copy in nano size

It has all the bells and whistles of the classic Carbon Copy with modulation, high pass option anad glow in the dark indicators on the knobs. One disadvantage shared with the the regular carbon copy is the modulation controls are accessed internally on the back of the circuit board.

Versatile tones from a drive pedal

Full range of clean, transparent drive to a crunchy, med. gain overdrive. The Waza custom switch allows for a fatter, fuller low and mid response. Excellent sounds with no fizzy issues on the high settings or muddiness in the lows.
