Description
The Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster is an elegant blend of vintage charm and modern innovation, designed to meet the precise needs of today's musicians. This iconic guitar is powered by a pair of V-Mod II Jazzmaster single-coil pickups, offering a crystalline, articulate tone with sparkling highs and a throaty bridge pickup tap mode. The pickups are more articulate than ever, delivering the shimmer and chime the Jazzmaster is renowned for.
The redesigned neck heel, smooth rolled fretboard edges, and satin "Super-Natural" finish offer a fast, comfortable playing feel, making the American Pro II Jazzmaster a delight to play. It comes with a popular Deep "C" neck that sports smooth rolled fingerboard edges, a "Super-Natural" satin finish and a newly sculpted neck heel for a supremely comfortable feel and easy access to the upper register.
The new Panorama Tremolo system offers a significant increase in vibrato range, allowing for deep, Strat-like dives in addition to the classic Jazzmaster warble. The rhythm circuit places both pickups in series for increased output, providing a spectrum of Jazzmaster sounds. This guitar delivers instant familiarity and sonic versatility you'll feel and hear right away, with broad-ranging improvements that add up to nothing less than a new standard for professional instruments.

Versatile tones top line JM
The neck satin finish is superior to most jazzmasters i’ve tried. The series/parallel as well as coil tap give a nice variety of tones. V-mod 2 single coils have a wider range than the older ones. The panorama trem is the show-stopper with an adjustable tension trem arm that pops securely in and has a much wider vibrato range than the avri or classics. Fender got this one right. Much better JM than the older ampro1.

Best guitar I've heard
The tone is very warm and versatile. You get a gloomy Jazzmaster sound with the ability to play around with switches and create more strat-like tones. The access to upper frets also makes a difference. Before I owned a Godin strat and Epiphone LP-100. Also, love the colour, very vintage-looking, like my grandma's cupboard.

Awesome!
Excellent tones for any style of music, particularly indie rock and of course jazz. As expected from a Jazzmaster! Pure versatility and warmth!
