Exactly, it has the Fat Cat circuit inside. I use the SS10 in parallel setting, with the chorus depth (internal trimpot) turned down and the chorus blend knob at 3 o'clock for a great clean blend. This way you get an awesome thick distortion, without losing the front end of the note.

I've tried many RATs. My favorite RAT-style pedal is the Ibanez Session Man SS10: thick distortion! In parallel setting, with the chorus turned down, you can get a clean blend, wich improves the attack.

Try a clean boost with focus on the mids. A Klon-style pedal with the gain turned down will do the trick. I recommend the RYRA Klone. Compressors can provide boost, but don't have the same cut.

The GigRig modular power system! I use it and love it. Clean, noiseless, isolated power. It's modular, so it can grow as your pedalboard expands.

My AnalogMan King of Tone brings out the best in every guitar and amp I own. After trying out tons of drive pedals, I settled for this one. I use the left side as an overdrive and the right side as a clean boost.
